FAU’s Department of Theatre and Dance is proud to present “The Tempest“ from February 20 to March 1, 2026!
William Shakespeare's masterpiece blends magic, betrayal, love, and forgiveness together for an evening of spectacle. Set on a mystical island, the play follows Prospero, the former Duke of Milan, who uses his magical powers to conjure a tempest that shipwrecks his enemies, including his treacherous brother Antonio and King Alonso of Naples. As the story unfolds, Prospero's daughter Miranda falls in love with Ferdinand, the King's son, while Prospero confronts his past and ultimately chooses forgiveness over revenge.
