"Henry Morrison Flagler: How One Man Modernized Florida’s East Coast" at Willow Theatre

  • Willow Theatre at Sugar Sand Park 300 South Military Trail Boca Raton, Florida, 33486 United States (map)

The Willow Theatre is proud to present “Henry Morrison Flagler: How One Man Modernized Florida’s East Coast with Michael McKeich” at Willow Theatre on December 17, 2026!

Presented by Michael McKeich, Historical Society of Palm Beach County

The iron tracks laid by Henry Flagler forever transformed Florida’s Atlantic coast, creating a legacy that echoes from the past to the present day. In Palm Beach County, that living history is championed by locals like Michael McKeich. A lifelong resident whose career was split between BellSouth and Palm Beach State College, Michael stepped out of the telecommunications world and into the heart of local culture. Inspired by his friend and mentor, the unforgettable "Mr. Palm Beach" Jim Ponce, Michael keeps the region's stories alive as a museum docent at the Palm Beach County History Museum while lighting up his retirement through community theater, board service at the Lake Worth Playhouse, and adventures on the open seas.

Dive into the life and accomplishments of Henry Flagler, founder of the Florida East Coast Railway and a key figure in the development of Florida’s Atlantic coast from 1840 to today.

Performance is 65 minutes, with no intermission. Rated G.
