Bullets Over Broadway The Musical delivers big laughs, colorful characters, and roaring ’20s hits in a six-time Tony-nominated comedy based on the 1994 film by Woody Allen and Douglas McGrath. Idealistic playwright David Shayne compromises his artistic integrity when a mobster finances his Broadway show — on the condition that his untalented girlfriend stars in it — leading to chaos involving an aging diva, a surprisingly brilliant hitman, and a lively chorus line. Featuring beloved songs like “Let’s Misbehave” and “’Tain’t Nobody’s Biz-ness If I Do,” this high-energy, Golden Age-inspired musical is a splashy, wildly entertaining crowd-pleaser.
