Walter Mosley is one of the most versatile and admired writers in America – author of more than 60 critically acclaimed books that cover a wide range of ideas, genres, and forms including fiction (literary, mystery, and science fiction), political monographs, writing guides including Elements of Fiction, a memoir in paintings, and a young adult novel called 47. 

For this evening’s talk he will speak on those things that unite us as a species, in spite of our many different cultures, ideas, colors, and beliefs.

For generations, Mosley notes, these differences have created conflict. They have kept humanity separated, when in fact we're more the same than we are different.
