Citizen Science Squad
Join Gumbo Limbo Nature Center for Citizen Science Squad!
Gain hands-on field experience by participating in a different scientific data collection project each month. Our educational activities support conservation-based projects that relate to Gumbo Limbo’s mission. Programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or minimum registration.
Ages 9 -13; adults do not participate but must sign child in and out.
Cost:
Resident/Gumbo Limbo Member $5
Non-residents: $8

Explorium Science Squad: Mystery Solved! (ages 8-12)
Join the Children’s Science Explorium for Explorium Science Squad: Mystery Solved!
Kids ages 8-12 can come learn the techniques used in crime scene investigation! Become a forensic scientist by helping us collect and analyze evidence.
Every month during the school year, we spend an hour investigating a new topic, and working as a team to discover something remarkable! This month, learn about the technology needed to overcome the extreme conditions astronauts face in space, then fuel up with a tasty space treat!
Pre-registration is required.

Resident $10
Non-resident $12.50

Tuesday, October 4th from 4-5 PM: ages 5-7
Wednesday, October 5th from 4-5 PM: ages 8-12
